MISSIONS
Involvement in missions is the responsibility of each Christian. We encourage congregations to engage in services that meet the needs of the people within the community, the nation, and the world. In our Missionary Baptist Churches, missions take a Christian beyond the borders of the New Testament Church and her immediate gospel influence to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in gospel-destitute areas; to win converts from other faiths or non-faiths to Christ; and to establish a functioning, multiplying local congregations who will bear fruit of Christianity. We encourage you to engage in missions by helping spread the gospel wherever it is needed, at home or abroad; by word and deed.

All disciples or believers are called and charged with this mission; It involves the entire church. Therefore, the Woman’s Baptist Home and Foreign Missionary Auxiliary is a part of the visible church involved in the call to mission and also becomes a missionary through its constituency—baptized believers of Christ.
ORGANIZED TO STRENGTHEN LOCAL CHURCHES
The Woman’s Auxiliary is composed of missionary circles in the local churches. Missionary circles are composed of three departments: Seniors, Young Adult, and Youth. These circles form the nucleus around which the missionary work of the church and the convention revolves. The missionary circle reaches out in its soul-saving and soul-winning and joins hands with missionary circles in other local churches to form county/city unions, auxiliaries, and missionary districts, all of which work together to build and strengthen a great and functioning Woman’s Missionary Baptist Convention of North Carolina. The Woman’s Convention was organized to help strengthen the local church’s missionary work by helping to build better and stronger missionary circles where they do not exist.
